If your Tap is paired to your phone and working within other applications but not being registered in TapManager, here are some steps to try:
- Unpair your Tap and try repairing it directly through TapManager and not through the bluetooth settings.
- Reboot your phone.
- Ensure that the apps have the required permissions:
Go to Settings -> Apps -> TapManager -> Permissions (iOS)
Settings app, then tap "Apps" or "Apps & Notifications", select TapManager, and then tap "Permissions" to view and manage Bluetooth permissions (Android)
- Unpair the Tap from all devices. Toggle your bluetooth off for 30 seconds. Open the TapManager app with bluetooth OFF. Turn bluetooth ON. Turn on the TapXR and pair.
- Try removing any unused BT devices you have paired and unpairing/repairing your Tap.
- If none of this works, please reset your Bluetooth protocol: under settings > system > advanced > reset > Bluetooth.
