Why can’t I see my private maps in TapManager?

Make sure you’re logged into TapManager as the same account as in TapMapper

Why can't I install a new map?

To install a new map you need to check that your TAP is paired to your device and that the firmware version is updated.

I installed a new map but my TAP still uses the default map

The new map doesn’t override the default map. To swap between maps hit SWITCH (ooxxx) then the letter C (xoxxx). You will feel a short vibration when switching. You can also swap between maps in the settings tab in TapManger under the “custom TAP mapping” label.

How can I share my maps?

You can publish your maps by clicking on the publish button in the Private Zone in TapMapper. Your maps will be reviewed and after approval they’ll be added to the MapStore.

Can I share a map with one friend?

At the moment it’s not possible.

I installed a new map and now my previous map is gone 

Your TAP can store only one map alongside the default map. When you install a new map the other one gets overwritten.

I published my map but I can’t see it in the store

After publishing a map it gets sent to our team for approval and it might take some time. If your map gets declined for some reason we will contact you through the email registered in your TAP account.

Can I delete the map that I installed?

No, installed map can only be replaced, not deleted.  You can install a default map so it will act the same way

How can I toggle between the default and my installed map?

Toggling can be made by tapping “switch” (00111) followed by “c” (10111), or alternatively by going to mapping in TapManager under settings.

Can I map a custom tap code to toggle between the default map and my map?

Not at this time.
