To swap between your custom and default tapmap, you can use the tap command SWITCH (ooxxx - fingers 4, 5, and 6) then C (xoxxx - fingers 1, 3, 4 and 5). You will feel a haptic for both SWITCH as well as a second haptic confirming the comman.
To swap between different enabled keyboards on your device, you will need to add a shortcut via TapMapper. The shortcut to swap between keyboards on your device (such as your phone or tablet) is set by the operating system. While there is no universal shortcut, most operating systems support a keyboard command to change keyboard modes.
Here is a list of known keyboard shortcuts for keyboard swapping:
- Windows: “Alt & Shift”
- Android: “Alt & Shift”
- MacOS: “Control & Space” or “Command & Space”
- iOS: “Control & Space” or “Command & Space”
Once you determine your OS level function, you can add the custom command to your Tap or TapXR using TapMapper and assign it to any convenient tap.
